Dear Seniors and Families,
Baccalaureate and Graduation are right around the corner! As we enter the final stretch, there are still important tasks and events on the horizon. Please take a few moments to carefully review the information in this newsletter to ensure you are ready for all that is ahead.
Graduation tickets will be given to the Graduates after the Baccalaureate Mass. Each Graduate will been given 10 tickets. Only the Graduate can pick up the tickets and can not pick up for a friend.
We are happy to provide special accommodations for our families who may need ADA seating during the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony. Please note that at the graduation ceremony, one adult will be invited to accompany the individual requesting seating accommodations. (If one person needs special seating, they will be invited to have a family member sit with them.) This option is available for our Senior families who can’t walk up and down stairs, utilize a mobility device, or any other mobility assistance. All you have to do is fill out this form and be sure to state your needs for one or both events.
A detailed seating chart was provided to each senior in homeroom on Thursday, May 8. We hope this information will help families decide where to sit when arriving at Memorial Auditorium for the graduation ceremony.
On the day of Graduation, graduates will be at Memorial Auditorium from 11:30am-3:00pm. Graduates will not be allowed to leave the building once they enter, and no food can be delivered (by family or delivery service) to Memorial Auditorium, per their policy. To accommodate lunch, graduates are allowed the following two options:
Be sure to minimize what you bring with you on Graduation Day as space in limited and bag restrictions apply. All bags brought into Memorial Auditorium must be smaller than 8″x6″x1″ or clear. As we near the end of the school year, we want to share some important details regarding the final transcripts for graduating seniors.
During the week of June 16th, the Counseling Office will send out final transcripts to the colleges listed on each student’s Senior College Plans form. If your student has not submitted this form yet, there is still time to do so! Blank copies are available in the Counseling Office.
Upon graduation, seniors can keep their school-issued Chromebook. If they do not wish to keep the device, they may return it to Technology beginning on May 13. Instructions on how to move school files to a personal Gmail account and remove the school’s management will be sent out on May 21. School email addresses will remain active until August 31. After that date, student email and Drive data will no longer be accessible. If your daughter has questions, she should reach out to SFTech@stfrancishs.org.
All lockers must be cleaned out by May 13.
Anything left in lockers will be thrown away or donated back to the school.
