SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Rising senior Meg Anderson has been named to the 2015 US Lacrosse All-Academic team.

Anderson, who is from Penn Valley, scored 10 goals on the season and was named to the Sacramento Lacrosse Conference second team. She has a 4.33 grade point average.

A US Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement. This player has left her mark beyond the lacrosse field and the classroom by making significant contributions of service to her school and/or community.

She was among 2,600 players recognized for excellence in the classroom as All-Academic honorees.
