Swanson’s 76 Leads Golf to Second at Delta League Center #2

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Junior Kate Swanson shot a team-best four-over par 76 to lead the team to a second-place finish at the Delta League Center match at The Reserve golf course in Stockton.

Swanson finished second overall in the field of 40 golfers in the Delta League. Grant did not participate in the event.

The Troubadours finished second overall with a 431 team score, scoring just seven shots off the pace set by Davis. Junior Mikia Fang carded a 79 for the Troubadours, posting the second-best round of the day on the team and fifth overall in the field.

Freshman Chase Saca recorded an 87 in her first 18-hole varsity event, while junior Kristi Lee posted a 93 and Leslie Young had a 96.

St. Francis plays the third and final Delta League Center match next Monday at WildHawk Golf Club beginning at Noon.
