Profile

Kat Haro is a communications professional specializing in online media. She brings a unique range of experience to the St. Francis Alumnae Board ranging including event planning, community outreach and social media strategy. Kat is currently the Interactive Media Manager at Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn, a full-service advertising and public relations agency in Sacramento.

Following her graduation from St. Francis in 2003, Kat attended Loyola University New Orleans where she was a member of the 2005 Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Bateman Case Study Competition, winning the national challenge with the team’s “Check Out My Ethics” campaign highlighting academic integrity. Additionally, she was part of the Loyola University New Orleans Admissions team handling crisis communications in the wake of hurricane Katrina.

She is currently the president of the St. Francis High School Alumnae Board after six years of involvement. She is also involved in the community as a member of Wonder, Inc., a mentoring program for children in foster care and serves on a public relations subcommittee for Sierra Forever Families.
