Penny Chatzis enters her eighth season with the Kings, as the Director, Team Player Development, Executive Assistant to Kings GM Monte McNair and team Notary. In her role with Sacramento, Chatzis  is responsible for implementation of the Kings Academy program, a developmental, player-centric curriculum aligning multi-faceted organizational philosophies and ideals to help athletes mature into well-rounded professionals. Chatzis also oversees Player Services and Player Relations, responsible for on-boarding players and welcoming them and their families to our incredible city, while also assisting with community integration. She helps to manage player community appearances and facilitate communications between players and the League office, business operations, and front 
office staff. 

With her background in real estate, event planning and education, Penny provides players with the highest quality of support. She assists in all areas of basketball administration and proactively manages the day-to-day needs of the General Manager, as well as the Assistant General Managers and front office. A graduate of California State University, Sacramento, she has a B.A. in Government and a Master’s in Education.
