Revelry Update!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Revelry is our largest fundraiser of the year and offers a multitude of volunteer opportunities! We have volunteer spots starting next week and many other opportunities the week before Revelry and the night of the event. So, if you need just a few hours, or want to complete your full commitment, we have a job for you!
Coming up next week…
Wednesday (9/17) and Thursday (9/18): We have set-up and break-down spots for the Legacy Circle Ladies Luncheon. These jobs are held off campus. Please see the sign-up dates for more information.
Friday (9/19): We will be assembling the Revelry invitation. Please report to the Advancement Office, 1291 61st Street, behind the school campus at the corner of M & 61st Street.
To sign up for these spots and any Revelry volunteer opportunities, please click HERE! Be sure to click on the months of September AND October for the full spectrum. Check back regularly-we will be adding new tasks!

LEGACY CIRCLE LADIES LUNCHEON
September 18, 2014
If you haven’t made your reservation yet, now is the time! Gather friends, don your ladies’ hat (or fascinator!) if you’re inclined, and enjoy an amazing lunch at the beautiful Arden Oaks home of Anne and Doug Bayless. Co-hosted this year by Anne Bayless and Celia Puff, this luncheon has become a “September tradition” for our community-a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! Tickets are $100 per person, or included in our Revelry sponsorship packages. Make your reservation today-this event sells out every year!
“REV” UP FOR THE RAFFLE!
Our student sales of Revelry raffle tickets will “rev” up next week, so be prepared! The student government officers have been plotting and strategizing about how their class will win each week’s award! Raffle tickets are available in the front office and student government office/CLC. The first “turn-in” day is on Tuesday, September 23rd at the tables in Serra Court during lunch. Raffle tickets can be turned in at any time in the front office raffle box. Stay tuned for weekly updates…
SUPPORT YOUR DAUGHTER’S LIVE AUCTION CLASS GIFT!
Each year, families from the respective classes are asked to come together to coordinate and underwrite a destination trip that will be featured in the live auction. These “gifts” have been very popular in the past and have sold for significant sums in the auction. Please consider supporting your daughter’s class through underwriting (from $25 to $500 or more) or donating an item or experience that will enhance the following class gift.
Class of 2015 – “Friendship Quilt”
The “Senior Friendship Quilt” has become
a Revelry tradition!! The allure of this quilt is irresistible!
With all the good times that have been shared, this quilt
imparts growth, journey and time gone by. When the comfort
of Serra Court is absent, this quilt will wrap itself around
your daughter’s spirit and body, keeping her warm and
comforted with the memories of her dear friends from the
Class of 2015!
Class of 2016 – “LA Experience”
Experience the Getty Center and Villa and dine at the J. Paul
Getty Museum restaurant! Check out the LA
County Museum of Art, Natural History Museum or Museum of
Tolerance. Stroll “on the stars” along the Hollywood Walk of Fame
and shop like the rich and famous along Rodeo Drive. Enjoy a VIP
trip to Universal Studios and top off each night at Spago and Il
Fornaio Restaurants. Add the Ronald Reagan Museum to your visit
and you’ve done the museum tour of LA!
Class of 2017 – “Santa Cruz Family Get-Away”
Get-away to Santa Cruz for a long beach weekend with the
family. Enjoy 3 nights of
luxury accommodations right by the beach and boardwalk. This
get-away will have something for everyone in the family,
including surfing lessons, tickets to the historic Santa Cruz
Beach Boardwalk, a sunset river cruise, and gift certificates to
several local hotspots including Gayle’s Bakery, Pizza My Heart,
and Aldo’s (a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives featured restaurant).
Class of 2018 – “Unlimited Fun in the Windy City”
Rising from the shores of Lake Michigan,
Chicago is a cultural, architectural, and historic showcase.
Experience it all! This is a once-in-a-lifetime Chicago
adventure. The trip will include five-star accommodations
along the Magnificent Mile plus dining credit. Also in the
package are tickets to explore and enjoy some of the best
the city has to offer. No trip to the Windy City is complete
without experiencing “The Ledge,” glass floor balconies 103
floors over Chicago with unparalleled 360-degree views from the
top of the Willis Tower.
