Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Spanish

The Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Spanish at St. Francis Catholic High School is responsible for teaching high school students in Spanish for a limited term. The St. Francis teacher will be a passionate educator who is deeply committed to Catholic, faith-based education and student success. The teacher is a subject matter expert that knows how to build a positive classroom culture focused on learning, uses student learning data to drive his or her work, and delivers engaging rigorous instruction. The teacher is expected to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Sacramento, and to adhere to the directives set by school administration. This position is a temporary, hourly position.

Rate of pay is $27.50 per hour.

Summer Physics Teacher

The Summer Physics Teacher at St. Francis Catholic High School is a seasonal, exempt employee who focuses on teaching the fundamentals of Physics through written and laboratory work.  The Physics course will focus on the interrelationship between matter and energy, utilizing problem solving, data analysis, and math as tools for teaching and learning.  The teacher will be a passionate educator who is committed to Catholic, faith-based education and student success. The person in this role is a subject matter expert that knows how to build a positive classroom culture focused on learning, uses student learning data to drive his or her work, and delivers engaging rigorous instruction. Substitute Coordinator

The Substitute Coordinator at St. Francis Catholic High School is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all substitution and supervision needs on campus.  The Substitute Coordinator communicates with and secures on-staff and on-call substitutes daily.  This position collaborates with Administration, Faculty, and the other Substitute Teachers to ensure daily substitution and supervision needs are covered.  The Substitute Coordinator supports all teachers on campus. This is a 10-month, hourly position.

Rate of pay is $18-$20 per hour.

Temporary Substitute Teacher
Employment Opportunity

The Substitute Teacher at St. Francis Catholic High School is responsible for the effective maintenance of the continuity of quality learning in the absence of the regularly appointed classroom teacher.  This position delivers prepared instructional plans and materials as directed by the teacher or administration.  This position is responsible for managing the students in the classroom and ensuring student safety and well-being. This is a temporary position for the spring semester only (January to May) and is not eligible for benefits. Working hours are generally open school hours, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or as according to the academic calendar.

Rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.

Golf Head Coach

The role of the Golf Head Coach is to be responsible for coaching the Varsity team as well as providing instruction and development of the developmental team. In addition, the Head Coach will be responsible for character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in the sport of Golf. The person in this role is required to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community and well as follow the mission of the school.

Rate of Pay is $18-$22 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.

Water Polo Head JV Coach
Employment Opportunity

The role of the Water Polo Head Junior Varsity Coach is to be responsible for coaching the JV Water Polo team through training and competitions as well as supporting the Varsity Head Coach in implementing program goals and objectives. The position is often responsible for introducing athletes to the fundamentals of the sport as many are participating in water polo for the first time. All coaches are responsible for creating and nurturing a physically, and emotionally safe environment for their athletes. In addition, the Head JV Coach will be responsible for character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in water polo. This job requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community as well as follow the mission of the school.

Rate of pay – $17.00 per hour

This person in this role is required to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community as well as follow the mission of the school.  The Assistant Coach is expected to contribute to and uphold a physically and emotionally safe environment for students to learn and thrive.

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour

This position is an occasional, part-time, hourly position.

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
