The Summer School Mathematics Teacher is a seasonal, exempt employee who facilitates student understanding of mathematics, fostering the development of logic, problem solving, and formal mathematical thought.  The Teacher will be a passionate educator who is deeply committed to Catholic, faith-based education and student success. He or she is a subject matter expert that knows how to build a positive classroom culture focused on learning, uses student learning data to drive his or her work, and delivers engaging rigorous instruction.  The Teacher is expected to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Sacramento, and to adhere to the directives set by school administration.

Learning Support Specialist

The Learning Support Specialist at St. Francis Catholic High School provides instruction and program planning for students with learning differences as well as students in the general population who need academic support.  This role researches, obtains, and provides professional development for faculty/staff members at St. Francis; serves on Student Support Teams (SSTs); serves on the Academic Advisory Council; creates Formal Education Plans and monitors distribution; proctors final exams in Alternate Test Site; and promotes the St. Francis Catholic High School mission and philosophy of inclusion.

Position Description: Learning Support Specialist

Director of Educational and Information Technology
Employment Opportunity

Under the supervision of the President, and in collaboration with the Principal and Assistant Principals, the Director of Educational and Information Technology at St. Francis Catholic High School is responsible for leading a collaborative process to develop a strategic vision for educational technology that is aligned to the school’s mission and philosophy, overall strategic plan, values, culture, and individual departmental needs.  The person in this position will oversee the implementation of that strategy and integration of it into core disciplines and other parts of the curriculum.  This includes facilitating the integration of technology across campus by providing professional development, supporting instruction, and serving as a resource that will increase student/staff knowledge and usage with the goal of establishing an environment which encourages creative and innovative use of educational technology.  This position also oversees the operation of the Information Technology Department, ensuring the successful delivery of services across all areas of Technology, from infrastructure and data/systems to instructional, aligning departmental procedures, policies, and end-user support with the mission and culture of St. Francis Catholic High School.

Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students
Employment Opportunity

Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students at St. Francis Catholic High School coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative support activities for the Dean of Students.  This position is responsible for attendance tracking and discipline processing.  This position also provides backup front office support to the Front Office Administrative Assistant and can be the first line of greeting for guests.  The person in this role must possess a high degree of integrity as the role is exposed to sensitive and confidential information.  This person must exercise good judgment and be able to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
