Faith & Service

Overview

Welcome to Campus Ministry

All members of the community are encouraged to share their gifts in order to enrich the greater community. Liturgies, prayer services, retreats, community events and service projects are the result of people sharing their gifts and talents. Of the qualities we strive to instill in our students, Faith and Service best reflect how the St. Francis Catholic High School community shares in the mission of the global Catholic Church.

Under the direction of Campus Ministry, we learn, analyze and reflect upon the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching:

  • Rights and Responsibilities
  • Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
  • Call to Family, Community, and Participation
  • Life and Dignity of the Human Person
  • The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
  • Solidarity
  • Care for God’s Creation

St. Francis Catholic High School’s 2022-2023 School Year Theme:

“Woven Together by the Love of God”

Based on the Catholic Social teachings:

Care for God’s Creation

School Year Prayer

Creator God, You brought forth all things and wove your love into creation. We are in relationship with everything, knitted together as a biologically diverse tapestry.

Son of God, You made your way throughout the land. From simple elements, your miracles came forth for the glory of the Creator.

Spirit of God, Bring healing to our hearts. Help us remember that rather than a problem to be solved, the world is a joyful mystery to be contemplated with gladness and praise of the Creator.
