Faith & Service

Overview

Welcome to Campus Ministry

All members of the community are encouraged to share their gifts in order to enrich the greater community. Liturgies, prayer services, retreats, community events and service projects are the result of people sharing their gifts and talents. Of the qualities we strive to instill in our students, Faith and Service best reflect how the St. Francis Catholic High School community shares in the mission of the global Catholic Church.

Under the direction of Campus Ministry, we learn, analyze and reflect upon the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching:

  • Rights and Responsibilities
  • Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
  • Call to Family, Community, and Participation
  • Life and Dignity of the Human Person
  • The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
  • Solidarity
  • Care for God’s Creation

St. Francis Catholic High School’s 2023-2024 School Year Theme:

“Seeking Joy in Purpose and Community”

Seeking Joy in Purpose and Community

Based on the Catholic Social teachings:

Solidarity and The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers

School Year Prayer

God of Love
You created all human beings equal in dignity,
desiring us to form an enduring,
interdependent, Beloved Community.

Son of God
You showed us the way of unconditional love,
inspiring us to stand up for justice
and to demonstrate radical humility.

Holy Spirit,
guide us in creating a more dignified world,
a world where we seek joy in purpose and community.
