Faith & Service
All members of the community are encouraged to share their gifts in order to enrich the greater community. Liturgies, prayer services, retreats, community events and service projects are the result of people sharing their gifts and talents. Of the qualities we strive to instill in our students, Faith and Service best reflect how the St. Francis High School community shares in the mission of the global Catholic Church.
Under the direction of Campus Ministry, we learn, analyze and reflect upon the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching:
- Rights and Responsibilities
- Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
- Call to Family, Community, and Participation
- Life and Dignity of the Human Person
- The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
- Care for God’s Creation
St. Francis Catholic High School’s 2021-2022 School Year Theme:
“Inseparable Companions -Truth, Justice & Mercy”
Based on the Catholic Social teachings:
Rights and Responsibilities
Preferential Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
School Year Prayer
Author of Truth,
You created all human beings equal in dignity.
Help us share in the daily
responsibility of assisting others
for the common good.
God of Justice,
Help us actively create healthier communities and a more dignified world, a world without hunger,
poverty, hate, and violence.
Lover of Mercy,
Help our hearts beat more strongly
to ensure that human dignity
is always respected,
love abounds, wounds are healed, and peace prevails.
Guide us to see your face in all creation as we search for
truth, justice, and mercy.
