Selection Process
Nominations will be accepted on a bi-annual basis, and may be submitted by any member of the St. Francis High School community.
Nominations will be solicited via school communication and may be submitted online, via email or traditional mail, or in person. Qualifying nominations must be received no later than June 1 prior to the Hall of Fame induction event. The next class will be inducted in 2020.
- NOMINATING COMMITTEE: This committee will be led by the Assistant AD/Sports Information and include 10 members; President of St. Francis High School, Athletic Director, Advancement/Alumni Relations, Faculty Member, Coach, alumna, Booster President, SAAC President and Community member. The Selection Committee will review the approved nominations and select the new members of the Hall of Fame. Votes will be tallied and the Hall of Fame class will be decided by point total. No more than one team will be named to a class in a single year. All complete nominations will be vetted by the Selection Committee. Nominations receiving approval but not elected will be automatically nominated for the following year’s Hall of Fame for a period of six years.
- The St. Francis Leadership will make final approval of names forwarded by the Nominating Committee. The President of St. Francis High School may make special exceptions to either the criteria or the process in order to recognize specific accomplishments or individuals outside of the traditional Hall of Fame guidelines.
