Tuition for the 2023-24 School Year
Dear St. Francis Families,
As we prepare to admit the Class of 2027 and begin planning for the 2023-24 school year, part of our work at this time of the year is to set tuition fees for the upcoming academic year I do not take lightly the financial sacrifice our parents and guardians make in choosing to send their daughters to St. Francis. While tuition is a lifelong investment in our children, it is also a significant financial commitment. Setting tuition for the 2023-24 school year comes at a time when costs all around us have increased – in our homes, within our families and in surrounding businesses. As a school, we are also impacted by the current state of the economy. In order to continue to offer the robust academic and co-curricular offerings, maintain our beautiful campus facility, and keep pace with operational costs, there will be a 3.2% increase to tuition, bringing it to $16,000 per year. The non-refundable registration fee of $725 which has held constant since 2016, will be $800 per student for the 2023-24 school year. As the parent of a rising senior, it is also important to know that the graduation fee is now $350 due to the increased cost of hosting an off-site graduation that can accommodate a large number of guests.
Everything from the courses, clubs and teams we offer, to the retreat programs, arts programming, and compensation for faculty and staff is supported by tuition dollars. You have made a Catholic, all-girl education a priority within your family and we understand the sacrifice that goes along with it. My mom and dad made the sacrifice and to this day I am still reaping the benefits of an all-girl Catholic education. Your investment in your daughter means exponential growth in body, mind and spirit that will be with her for a lifetime.
Thank you for all you do to make a St. Francis education possible for your daughter.
With gratitude,
Fadia Desmond, Ph.D.
