Katie graduated from UCLA with a major in Economics and a minor in Accounting and started her career in public accounting. After gaining a solid base of accounting knowledge, she transitioned to industry where she found her passion in helping businesses grow and optimize their operations. She has had accounting & finance roles with increasing responsibility over the last 18 years in manufacturing, construction and software businesses. In her current role as VP, Finance at a marketing technology start-up, she oversees all aspects of the Accounting department as well as the FP&A function which handles reporting, forecasting and analytics. She serves on the SFHS Alumnae Board as well as the ACE Mentor California Capital Board and spends her free time with her husband, son and daughter.
