The playoff season is underway for our winter Troubie teams. Varsity soccer earned the No. 3 seed of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I tournament and will host Monterey Trail on Friday night (February 11) at 6:00 p.m. If SF wins, the second-round game will be on Wednesday, February 16 against the winner of the Enochs-Lincoln game. Meanwhile, basketball wraps up the regular season on Friday and will learn of its section playoff pairing early next week. Stay tuned to GoTroubies.com for updates.

Meanwhile, the spring preseason practices are underway, with softball finishing its tryout period last week and lacrosse doing the same this week. Students interested in playing for those teams, particularly on the JV squads, may reach out to the coaches to see if slots are still available. Head coach email addresses can be found on the GoTroubies website.

As part of the lead-up for the season, Bill Smith Photography will be on campus on Thursday, February 17 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. to take the spring sports head shots. BSP will shoot the photos that are available for purchase, and that become part of the team composites in the yearbook and the gym foyer. Additionally, Assistant Athletics Director, Mark Honbo, will use that same time slot to take head shots for the GoTroubies website. Thursday’s photo stations will be in the main gym. For students who cannot attend due to Kairos that week, don’t fret; there will be an additional session on Tuesday, February 22 (same time, location TBA).
