Dear parents,

Again, there is a dangerous Tik Tok challenge going around the country. Please share this link and discuss with your daughter about the dangers associated with this challenge.  All toy guns are banned from campus (a reminder to seniors will be sent during their last week of school).  It is important that for the safety of everyone at school or home to understand the gravity of participating in these activities.  Thank you for your assistance in helping keep your daughters safe. 

What would you think if your high school student ordered 50,000 gel balls? That pack may only cost $14 online, but the beads (known as Orbeez, or water beads, or Marvel Beads) are generally marketed for younger kids or as sensory play. Older kids have recently become interested in these toys thanks to social media challenges showing videos of shooting the beads at people or objects with the intent of causing harm to people or property. Cities around the country are looking for suspects and warning communities that shooting anything, even toy gel beads from toy guns, is a serious offense.
