Hey Troubie Parents – Troubie College Week is coming up! Here’s what’s available to you (virtual parent night) and your student (a college fair and lots of workshops) during Troubie College Week:

• Monday, September 19 – lunchtime - Navigating the UC Application – workshop for seniors 
• Tuesday, September 20 – lunchtime - Using Naviance for College and Career Exploration – workshop for freshmen, sophomores and juniors 
• Tuesday, September 20 – lunchtime - Writing the College Essay – workshop for seniors – presented by Ms. Nicolle Harrity 
• Tuesday, September 20 – 6:00 – 7:00pm - Virtual Paying for College and Financial Aid Workshop for parents.  This workshop will be especially helpful for senior parents, but parents of any grade level are welcome to attend to learn more about college costs, the financial aid process, and merit scholarships. • Wednesday, September 21 – lunchtime - Mini College Fair College representatives from several schools will be on campus at lunchtime to meet with students and answer questions.  
• Thursday, September 22 – lunchtime - Maximizing Your Extracurricular Activities for Resume Building and College Applications – workshop for freshmen, sophomores and juniors 
• Thursday, September 22 – lunchtime - Completing an Accurate Academic History and Highlighting your Extracurricular Activities on the UC Application – workshop for seniors
