Academic Support

Post Kathryn (Rotz) Dickson '96

Students who are struggling academically have several avenues of support, both on campus and off campus.

The first stop for support is with their teachers.  Teachers are often available at lunch and can meet during other times, as well.

On campus, students can schedule an appointment with a trained peer tutor in the Tutor Lab (located in the library).  A tutor is available at every block and can tutor in a variety of subjects.

Students can also access the CSF Peer Tutor List.  This is a list of students who have qualified for the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) by earning outstanding grades the prior semester. The peer tutor list was shared with students on October 5, and there is also a link to the list in each class’ Schoology folder.

Finally, through our partnership with Revolution Prep, families can obtain private tutoring and test preparation.
