SFHS at Lanaea High School Theatre Festival
Saturday, February 7, 2015

The SF Players took to the stage today from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM at the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival. They performed monologues, musical theatre songs and duet scenes. A standing room only crowd cheered the performance of their original play,”The Poe Project”.  An amazing experience to see how their play was received by their peers from other school! Here are some pics as the Players get ready for the performance and Ani Carrera sings for the musical theatre judges.

SF Art Classes Prepare for Season Sampler in September

The Season Sampler on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 is a showcase of what the Performing and Visual Arts Department has in store for the year. Every area of the Arts, including the Fall Musical, Visual Arts, Dance, Choir, and Orchestra, will be highlighted.

Our Sculpture classes are midway through their first personal project, which will make a debut at the Sampler. They are using the school theme for the year “Cultivate Peace, Protect Creation” for these pieces. Many students have never used clay as an artistic medium, and are having a lot of fun experimenting.
