Chromebook Apps and Extensions for 25-26

Over this past year, the Technology department has been monitoring the performance of school-issued Chromebooks. We have noticed that many apps and extensions downloaded by students are slowing down the Chromebooks due to high memory use and tracking. Due to this, on June 1, the school will be limiting the types of apps and extensions available to download on the school-issued Chromebooks to only those that are approved by the school.

Senior Painted Parking Spots

One of our favorite traditions is seniors painting parking spaces to benefit our scholarship programs. Students may personalize their parking spot by creating a design that reflects their interests and/or shows school spirit. Designs must be pre-approved by the administration prior to painting and cannot violate the tenets of St. Francis Catholic High School.

  • The Senior Painted Parking day is Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8:00am to 2:00pm (weather permitting). The cost is $300 for the year (payment plans can be made available; please contact Dean Cost).
  • All students will submit a template with their designs/drawings, and those templates must be turned in no later than July 11, 2025. Click here to download the template.
  • This spot will be reserved for the individual student only during regular school hours. It is not for parents or any time outside of the regular school day.
  • Seniors, starting on May 29, 2025, at 8am and ending on June 2, 2025, at 3pm, you will have the opportunity to enter the lottery; your spot will be pre-assigned via the computer-generated lottery number system. You will be notified of your lottery number on August 8th. Click here for the form.
  • On the morning of August 9th, at 8:00am, students, by their pre-assigned numbers, will be individually released to pick their spot in the parking lot. Last year this took approximately 5 minutes.
  • Further specifics, including paint and items needed, will be sent out after the sign-ups conclude.
