Somer Lowery has worked in education for over 20 years. Her journey began as a substitute teacher and evolved into a school leader. She has worked for private specialty programs and now serves as Director of Strategy & Partnerships for a TK-8 public charter school which she helped open. Somer wears many hats, some of which include overseeing facilities, outreach and enrollment, marketing and social media and coaching teachers on the implementation of social emotional learning. She is a firm believer that education is a space for innovation and would love to see more creative thinkers pursue this field.
