Tech is the week before the opening of a play or musical. All actors, techies and staff  who are working the play have rehearsals to go over the technical aspects of the play: lighting, sound, set pieces on and off, etc. The Patrons provide a dinner, aka Tech Feed,  for everyone who is involved on the Saturday.
