St. Francis Stories: Lauren & Louise Morr ‘23
Citizens of the World
This week’s St. Francis Stories spotlight is the graduating duo of Lauren and Louise Morr and how they found inspiration serving at a day camp for the children of refugee families in the Sacramento area starting in 2019. This summer will be their fifth one helping at the camp. Oh! They also happen to be great lacrosse players and will be attending UCLA in the fall. Lauren and Louise truly emulate the four pillars of St. Francis: Faith, Excellence, Leadership, Service.

Seven more Troubies announce college athletics commitments
As the excitement of graduation looms, so does the participation in collegiate sports for so many of our Troubies. We had 11 student athletes commit to their sport and college in the fall. Recently, seven more announced their intent during the spring National Letter of Intent and College Commitment celebration. All the details can be found HERE.
St. Francis Stories: Emily Bradley
The gifts each St. Francis student possess are vast and can often go unrecognized, not for lack of caring or interest, but simply because there’s so much our students do outside of school time and walls. For example, participating in women’s youth bobsledding probably isn’t something one would equate with Sacramento or St. Francis. But sophomore Emily Bradley is doing just that! She recently returned from Austria and is now ranked #2 in the world! She appeared on Good Day Sacramento and is this week’s St. Francis Stories feature.
St. Francis Stories: Troubies dominate Holy Sticks matchup
Competition often inspires great stories and there’s certainly no shortage of competition this spring from our Troubadours! If you haven’t logged on to gotroubies.com lately or follow @SFHS.Athletics on social (HINT: some great moments are shared here), you’re missing out! It’s hard to choose just one headline to highlight: Troubies stun defending league, section champs or Miles, Hodge lead comeback in epic LAX battle.
St. Francis Stories: We are St. Francis
Each young woman at St. Francis is an individual, on her own journey, with her own talents, interests and aspirations. Together, WE are ST. FRANCIS ❤️
During Saturday’s 40th annual auction, we debuted this very special video, starring many of our Troubies. It was a labor of love inspired by our president, and realized by our digital media manager and friends at Univision. We want to make sure everyone sees it and feels free to share it far and wide. It’s the perfect installment for this week’s St. Francis Stories feature.

The St. Francis school year may be over, but the athletics season continues for several of our top student-athletes. The softball team earned a No. 2 seed in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs and won its first-round game against Cordova on Tuesday. The Troubies improved to 24-3 overall with that victory, extending one of the finest years in school history. Meanwhile, the track & field season marches on with the SJS Masters Meet in Davis this weekend. The top finishers in each event will earn trips to the CIF state championships next week.
