Frosh Basketball Wins Sixth Straight, Posts Big Win

PLACERVILLE, Calif. – Tara Keene had 12 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead the St. Francis freshman team to a win over El Dorado Wednesday afternoon. The Troubadours scored 35 points in the first half led by Keene and held El Dorado to just one point. It was the sixth consecutive win for the Troubadours.

The teams wiped the scoreboard clean in the second half and the Troubies won the “second game” 15-1 to post a 50-2 win overall. Bailey Davis scored five of her eight points in the second half.  All 11 players scored in the contest. Sofia Garaygay and Kat Dowdell each scored five points, while Hannah Dorsey and Bianca Ariza chipped in four each.

St. Francis (13-2) will play again on Saturday at Antelope. Tipoff is Noon.
