SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis volleyball team advanced to the Sac-Joaquin Section quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over Vintage on Tuesday night. The Troubadours advanced by scores of 25-11, 25-7 and 25-20.

“I was really excited about their start,” said Head Coach Alynn Wright. “They were very focused. We worked really hard on our serving yesterday and it showed. I thought they served extremely well.”

“The service runs we had created a lot of confidence in the kids,” said Wright. “I was really pleased.”

Schildmeyer had a team-best 25 assists, eight digs and three aces on the night.

“Maddie did a good job utilizing all of the hitters,” said Wright. “She did a really good job running the offense.

Vintage rallied in the third set and to keep in close and test the Trobadours.
