The basketball teams have three league games this week starting with Pink Night on Monday against Davis for all three levels. JV and Varsity will both play at Elk Grove on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and at Sheldon on Friday, Feb. 5. The freshmen team also plays at Antioch on Feb. 3 and At Sac High on Feb. 5. For a complete look at the athletics schedule, click here.

Basketball Hosts Pink Night Feb. 1

Join us Monday, February 1, as your St. Francis Troubies host their Pink Night against Davis High School to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Help us pray for those who have breast cancer, who have survived and those who have passed. So put your pink on and come out at 4pm for the Frosh game, 5:30 for the JV and 7 p.m. for the main event as the St. Francis Varsity team looks to extend their undefeated streak in the Delta League.  

Soccer Signing Day

The second NCAA signing day celebration of the 2015-16 season will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3 to recognize our soccer commitments. The celebration will be held in the CLC at 9 a.m. Can’t make the event? Watch it live on TroubieTV.

Spring Sports Carpool Interest

For parents interested in potential carpooling during the spring sports seasons for practices and/or games, we have setup an online registration to connect potential families together for this task. Diving (Capital Divers), Lacrosse (Mather Sports Complex), Soccer (Tryouts), Swimming (Jesuit) and Track and Field (Jesuit HS) both practice and compete off campus. Spring Parent Meeting Dates

Swimming  Feb. 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Old Cafeteria

Softball – Feb. 8, 5:30-7 p.m., Softball Field

Lacrosse – Feb. 16, 5:30-7 p.m., Old Cafeteria

Diving – Feb. 22, 5:00-5:30 p.m., Capital Diving

Soccer – Feb. 24, 6-7:00 p.m., New Dining Hall

Track and Field – Feb. 4 at 6:00 p.m., New Dining Hall

Spring Conditioning/Tryouts

Spring sports start on Feb. 8 for the sports of lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming and diving and track and field. Please have your daughter’s current physical on file with the athletic department to insure her participation in the first day of tryouts. The physical must be on the form on the school website. You can find it here.

DIVING: Practice starts on February 15: 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Capital Diving. Workouts the rest of the season (2/22-4/27) will be M/W/F from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

LACROSSE - All players interested in trying out for JV and Varsity Lacrosse, please report to optional conditioning Monday, January 25, at 4:20 pm in the gym foyer, stretched and ready to go. Conditioning will be Monday-Thursday from January 25-February 4, 4:20-5 pm. NO cleats, sticks, lacrosse balls, or goggles.  Please wear comfortable running shoes. 

Tryouts are Feb. 8-12 from 4-6 p.m. at Mather Sports Complex. Be there early and bring all equipment (goggles, stick, athletic gear, cleats, etc.).

SOFTBALL - Pitchers and catchers, February 1-5, 2016, 3:30PM-5:00 p.m. on the softball field. All players report February 8, 2016, 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. for start of season. 

SOCCER - Soccer will host tryouts both on campus (Freshmen) and off at Granite Regional Park (JV and Varsity) starting on Feb. 8 from 3:30-5 p.m. 

SWIMMING - There is a swimming interest meeting January 28, 2016 - 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. in the Old Cafeteria. Official practice/tryouts begin on Feb. 8. 

TRACK AND FIELD - Meets at Jesuit High School at 3:45 p.m. each afternoon, Monday-Friday. Official practice/tryouts begin on Feb. 8. 

Fifteen Basketball Games to be Shown on TroubieTV

The Sports Media Club will broadcast 15 St. Francis basketball games on TroubieTV over the next two months and all varsity postseason games, starting with the freshmen basketball game against Dixon on Tuesday, January 5. Read the complete release here.
