Soccer hosts Grant (V/JV) on Monday and travels to Pleasant Grove on Wednesday. Softball hosts Franklin on Wednesday and travels to Monterey trail on Friday and plays in the Victory Tournament over the weekend (April 14-16). Track and Field is at the Bella Vista Invitational April 16. Swimming and Diving travels to Monterey Trail on April 13. Golfer Sweeney Named a Succeeding Together Finalist

St. Francis freshman Patricia Sweeney was named one of 10 Succeeding Together finalists and has a chance earn a $1000 prize for the First Tee of Greater Sacramento and a chance to play in the pro-am of the Wells Fargo Championship. Sweeney’s essays were chosen from over 100 applications from over 40 different chapters of The First Tee. Help her earn the $1000 prize for the Sacramento Chapter by sharing her entry on Twitter and Facebook via the website via the Wells Fargo website. Read the release here.

Pitton, Craig Among All-Metro Honorees by the Sacramento Bee

St. Francis Head Coach Vic Pitton was named the Sacramento Bee Girls Coach of the Year and senior Lauren Craig was selected to the All-Metro first-team, one of four Troubadour players named to the All-Metro team. Read the complete release here.

Stanford Invitational Recap

The St. Francis 4×400-meter relay capped off two days at the Stanford Invitational with a third-place finish, placing second overall in their heat. The foursome of Lilly Enes, Kiani Reyna, Elizabeth Hennessy and Ariane Arndt clocked a time of 3:57.44, ranking third on the all-time performance chart. Read the complete release here.

Basketball’s Dream Season Ends in Championship Game

After a memorable comeback Saturday to reach the CIF Division Championship, the St. Francis Troubadours could not repeat the feat Thursday, falling 64-51 to Brea Olinda in their quest for the second state championship in school history.
