SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Julia Razo scored 12 points among three players in double figures as St. Francis defeated Grant 79-39. The Troubadours improved to 7-0 after the first half of the Delta League season.

“It was all defense because the offense builds off our defense,” said Razo. “Our communication was non-existent.”

St. Francis (16-4) trailed 18-17 after the first quarter as Razo hit a pair of three pointers and Kyra Huffman contributed six points. Huffman added six in the second and senior Lauren Craig got going with three baskets as SF scored 24 points and held the Pacers to five points.

Craig took control in the third quarter with 10 of her 22 points to tie for team-high honors with Huffman.

St. Francis hosts Pleasant Grove on Friday night. The game can be seen on TroubieTV.
