This Week in Troubie Sports…

Diving was represented at the CIF State Championships by Molly Wilson on Friday and softball was eliminated from the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs. Track and Field continues the three-week qualification process for the state championships with the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters trials and finals. For a complete list of Athletic Events, click here.

Collegiate Athletics Recruiting 101

The St. Francis Booster Club and Troubadour Athletics are proud to host two informational sessions to educate SF families on the basics of the collegiate athletic recruiting process.  Topics include initial eligibility to compete and receive athletics scholarships as well as best practices for prospective student-athletes and their families to navigate the process.  Both sessions will occur the same evening as Sports Physical Night, Thursday, June 1, in the SF Theater.  The sessions are identical in content, the first starting at 5:00 PM and the second at 6:00 PM.  SF alumnae Sarah Huarte Glynn and Laura Huarte (University of San Francisco Athletics) will present to be followed by a panel discussion/Q & A time.  The panel will be made up of SF coaches with collegiate coaching experience as well as former Troubadors (families and student-athletes) that have already been through the process.

Swimming Claims Frosh/Soph Section Title, Places Sixth in Varsity Meet

The St. Francis swimming and diving teams finished the 2017 season in style by winning the Frosh/Soph division at the Sac-Joaquin Section Championships and placing sixth overall in the varsity meet. Read the complete release here.

Track and Field Finishes Second at Delta League Champs

The St. Francis track and field team finished second at the Delta League finals Friday at Davis Senior High School. The Troubadours qualified several  student-athletes to the Sac-Joaquin Section championships next week.

Volleyball Open Gym Dates

 The St. Francis volleyball team will hold open gyms starting June 5. Open Gym is open to all SFHS students.  (Students must have a current 2017-2018 St. Francis High School Physical Form on file with the Athletic Director in order to participate.)
