Golfer Olivia Alcoran Chosen for First Tee Leadership Academy

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Rising St. Francis senior Olivia Alcoran was selected by The First Tee of Greater Sacramento (TFTGS) to represent the chapter at the 2018 The First Tee Northern California Leadership Academy. The event’s activities will be held at locations in the Monterey, CA and Pebble Beach area from June 17-20, 2018.

The event is comprised of 60 young people from The First Tee and Youth on Course Northern California network who are committed to The First Tee’s Nine Core Values.

The event is a fun and educational experience that will allow the participants to become leaders at their chapter, school, and community. During the week there will be opportunities to meet participants from the 11 Northern California chapters of The First Tee, and the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA), interact with the top golf coaches in The First Tee network, and engage in fun, extracurricular activities.

Alcoran, who lives in Folsom, is three-year letter winner for the golf program. She has helped the team to three consecutive Delta League titles and a CIF NorCal Regional appearance in 2017. She received the Integrity in the Moment Award in 2018.
