Revelry Volunteer Opportunities are Posted!
Attention St. Francis Families! Revelry Fire & Ice Auction volunteer opportunities are now posted in MVP. There are many opportunities available for the event day as well as leading up to the event.
Please note, in order to volunteer, you must have a completed Safe Haven certificate on file and cleared fingerprints. These are the Dioceasan requirements to volunteer on campus.
ORbeez Toy Gun Tik Tok Challenge
Dear parents,
Again, there is a dangerous Tik Tok challenge going around the country. Please share this link and discuss with your daughter about the dangers associated with this challenge. All toy guns are banned from campus (a reminder to seniors will be sent during their last week of school). It is important that for the safety of everyone at school or home to understand the gravity of participating in these activities. Thank you for your assistance in helping keep your daughters safe.

Class of 2023 Leadership Positions
On Friday, March 25th, the Class of 2023 was invited to apply for one of the Campus Ministry Leadership positions for their senior year. The application requires the submission of a Google Form and a video responding to a prompt associated with the position(s) they are seeking. Students can apply for multiple positions, but will not be offered more than one.
The three leadership opportunities are available: Big Sister, Retreat Team, and Christian Service Leader (CSL).
Dress Shopping for a Cause: Sunday, April 3 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Whether it’s Junior Prom, Senior Ball, a school dance, or other special occasion, we have good news for Troubies (and their families) in the dress buying market. A very special shopping day on Sunday, April 3rd from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. has been set aside just for them. All dresses are being sold for $50. These brand new dresses originally retailed between $100-$500. And what’s more, there are hundreds to choose from in all size from juniors to plus sizes.
Post Easter Break COVID Testing
Students and faculty/staff will be receiving a rapid antigen test next week ahead of the upcoming Easter Break. Per CDPH K-12 Guidance, all students, faculty, and staff will have to complete a rapid antigen test before they return to school on Monday, April 25th.

Athletic News – 4/01/22
The St. Francis softball teams finally return home after a three-game road stretch, hosting Laguna Creek on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. The Troubies are having one of their best years in recent history, with senior, Hope Jenkins, already having thrown three no-hitters, and the JV squad winning six straight to start the season. Softball also hosts Cosumnes Oaks on Tuesday.

Language Proficiency Testing Opportunity for Seniors (April 9, 8:30-Noon)
St. Francis and Jesuit are partnering to offer graduating seniors, who are either heritage/first-language speakers of a language other than English, a chance to test their proficiency using digital AAPPL exams to be administered on Saturday, April 9. Seniors who would like to test their proficiency in any of the following languages on that day may register to do so at the link below: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. The full exam covers reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The exam is available to St.

President Search Update
Letter from Bishop Soto
St. Francis is excited to share an update on the search for a president. Bishop Soto has appointed a President Search Committee that will be identifying the next President of St. Francis Catholic High School. The St. Francis Board of Trustees has engaged Partners in Mission to do a broad national search to identify and contact individuals with the potential to be St. Francis’ next President. They are tasked to develop a sizable pool of highly qualified and diverse candidates for this critical position. Bishop Soto has shared a letter detailing this process.

This workshop will help students better understand the ‘study cycle’ and how to improve and organize their learning throughout a course of study. Students will leave with researched based tools to help maximize their academic performance with a focus on active study techniques such as self testing, distributive practice, and interleaving of concepts. Serra Court has been transformed into a performance space for our Spring Musical and we’re overjoyed to present JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.
Performances are at 7:00 p.m. March 25 and 26 and 2:00 p.m. on March 26.
A food truck will be present prior to the performances so come early to purchase refreshments before the show!
