La Befana Visits SFHS

The Befana (Helen Manfredi Pierson ‘74) flew into St. Francis to visit the Italian 1 students and share her story, beginning thousands of years ago and remaining to this day a tradition practiced by Italian children and their families throughout the peninsula. This is her story:
One day, the three Magi left their country bearing special gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh for the new-born Jesus Christ. They were guided by a star across many countries. At every village that they passed, many people ran to meet them and accompany them in their journey.

Career Day 2020

Without a doubt, St. Francis cultivates successful, impactful and capable alumnae – women who are changing their world.

Alumnae, would like to invite you to participate in the 2020 St. Francis Career Day to be held on Friday, March 13, 2020. This experience allows our alumnae to share their professional experiences with our current students. It’s an excellent opportunity to share your talents, spend time on campus and have lunch in the new dining hall (new to those of you who graduated before 2014)!

We’ve had a great response from our alumnae so far! When we surveyed our students to see some of the careers they would be interested in, we realized we could use some more alumnae in these careers:

  • Law enforcement
  • Psychology
  • Fashion
  • Military
  • Architecture
  • Aviation
  • Real Estate

Students will have an opportunity to sign up for two career sessions hosted by alumnae that morning (event time will be 9:00 am – 12:00 pm with lunch provided after). If you would like to participate, please complete the following interest form HERE
