This Week in Troubie Sports…

Diving will be represented at the Sac-Joaquin section championships on Thuraday and Saturday. Lacrosse competes in the Sacramento Valley Lacrosse league playoffs, Solftball will play three regular season road games. Swimming is off in prep for the section championships and track and field will compete in the first leg of the championship season with the Delta League Trials at Davis on May 5. Spring Signing Day Highlights St. Francis Students

 Twelve St. Francis seniors have committed to play a sport in college during the spring signing period that started Wednesday and were celebrated at a ceremony at the school today. Overall, 17 St. Francis student-athletes from the Class of 2017 have made commitments or signed a National Letter-of-Intent this year. Read the complete release here.

Golfer Alcoran Selected for First Tee Event in Atlanta

Sophomore Olivia Alcoran has been selected one of 24 girls nationwide by The First Tee to participate in the 2017 John Deere Drive Your Future Academy in Atlanta, GA on June 19-22. Read th complete here.

Razo Among Four Named to All-Metro Basketball Teams

Senior Julia Razo was named to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro third team announced by the paper last week.
