Lynda Grindstaff is a cybersecurity and technical engineering product expert, board director, and experienced global executive who advises late-stage growth companies on strategies to drive scale, achieve high-margin revenue, and unlock massive growth. Start-up CEOs and Venture Capital/Private Equity firms count on her to advise their companies on how to execute with speed and efficiency, build talented global teams, and parse the signal from the noise. She is known for being a passionate and inspirational engineering leader that leverages her 30 years of experience to advise enterprise and consumer SaaS companies on the latest cybersecurity capabilities and solutions as well as providing a strategic framework to companies needing growth and transformation.

Currently, Lynda is a strategic operating partner for Kayne Anderson Capital providing stage-specific expertise for enterprise private equity portfolio companies to drive growth and unlock their full value. She is also a board member for Women’s Empowerment, and sits on the Industry Advisory Board for the California State University, Sacramento College of Engineering.

Most recently, Lynda was a Vice President of Engineering at McAfee for six years where she led teams responsible for identifying malware and effective counter-solutions. Prior to McAfee, Lynda spent 22 years at Intel in various technical and senior leadership roles driving significant revenue for the company. She has also been an active leader with the Society of Women Engineers for three decades.
