I am a Fixed Income Senior Portfolio Manager at California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS), the largest teachers’ retirement system and second largest pension fund in the nation. In my current role I am responsible for the oversight of the internally managed US Treasury, Investment Grade, High Yield and Structured Product portfolios. Prior to this, I managed the interest rate strategies of US Treasuries, US Treasury inflation protected securities, and US Treasury long duration strategies, totaling over $20 billion in assets. I lead a team of investment professionals and collaborate with external counterparties, partners and stakeholders. I joined CalSTRS in 2001 and earned my bachelors of science at California State University Sacramento.
