Sandra is in her sixth year with the California State Senate working on California’s environmental, wildfire, climate, and water issues. She coordinates and manages legislative bill hearings for the Natural Resources and Water Committee. Before working for a Senate committee, she was a Legislative Aide to Senator Cathleen Galgiani, 5th District. Prior to her career in state government, Sandra worked in campaign finance and management for Senator Galgiani and Congressman John Garamendi. Sandra obtained a B.A. in Organizational Communication from CSU, Sacramento in 1988 and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1982. She has two daughters who are also Troubies, Hannah 2016 and Kayla 2021.
